"NORTON - Mrs. Trudie Mae Norton, 62, 8509 Ashlet St. died Sunday. A native of Donaldsonville, Ga., she had lived in Tampa 25 years. She was a Baptist and a retired employee of Winn-Dixie. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Underwood, Tampa; brothers, Clyde Coleman, Bainbridge, Ga., and Lee Coleman, Lakeland; and a grandson, Ronald Gordon, Tampa. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday at the Swilley Funeral Home, 1602 W. Waters Ave., with the Rev. Keith Shumate, associate pastor of the Temple Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery." Published in The Tampa Tribune (Tampa, Florida, USA), Tuesday, September 18, 1973, p. 7-D.

Canaan CT CHLOE, pg 464 married Stephen HOWE mar abt 1809 Chloe NORTON , who came from OHIO to Poultney VT about in 1808 , making the trip on horse back. She was born in VT 1788 and died 6 Dec 1851 age 63 Children br in Poultney were James, Jacob, Mary D., Sarah, Marion DANIEL pg 416 married Elizabeth HOWE may 27 1762 daug. of JEREMIAH Cook HOWE and ELIZABETH Hickox GAYLORD (this is MY line) EFFIE pg 360 161a Moses C.
