Hi Richard, Based on Sarah's and Milo's birthdates, this Sarah's parents were Nicholas Northup (b. 1752 in England) and Lydia Palmer (b. 1775). She was one of Nicholas Northup's (b. 1797 in Stephentown, Rensselaer Co., New York) siblings. Send me an email ([email protected]), and I will be happy to provide a LOT more info on the family. There were a number of "Needham's" in the family, and as was common for the day, they used phonetic spellings for both their Christian and surnames; so there are quite a number of variations.
