Perry Gates Northup (born 1832). The Northups & the Kinnes were evidently friends. They moved from Vermont about the same time to New York (Perry's family to Erie Co. & Miriam's family to Cattauragus Co - this spelling doesn't look right somehow. Then some of them (Perry & father, John Jr.) to Rock Co Wi and then to Pierce Co WI. John Jr.'s daughter married Wilson Kinne. It seems like there's another Northup-Kinne marriage but I can't remember it. Perry Gates Northup is my great, great grandfather through his son, Darwin Northup through his daughter Della Northup & then my mother.
