I checked all (there were quite a few) of the "Horatio N.'s" in the family records, but none had a "Christopher N." for their father. But there are several "lost sheep" Horace N.'s that are possible matches. Correspondingly, I checked the "Christopher N.'s", but none had a reported son, "Horatio," but some of the records were incomplete. Horatio is recorded in the census records (1850, 1860 & 1870) for Providence (5th & 6th Wards), Providence Co., Rhode Island. Susan E. Northup reportedly died on 16 Feb 1874 (age 45 years).
