Hello Anne-Marie - the name BAINBRIDGE rings a bell in my family tree and I wonder if there might be a connection to my HARRISON line. John HARRISON married Esther BAINBRIDGE on 24 February 1800 in Gateshead. I believe her parents were Robert BAINBRIDGE and Mary TATE who married in Gateshead on 21 Feb 1773 and Elizabeth was baptized on 28 Feb 1779. An interesting fact is that the HARRISON descendents maintained the middle name of BAINBRIDGE for the next 92 years (3 generations) which suggests that they were very proud to have the connection. Thomas Bainbridge HARRISON was born in Q4 1881 NewcastleT 10b/90) and Frances Bainbridge HARRISON was born in Newcastle Q1 1892 10b/110. If you believe there might be a connection, I would be happy to exchange family tree details with you. Charles Atkinson, Niagara Falls, Canada.
