You might find DUMFRIES-GALLOWAY list specific to Dumfries as well as being a similar area to that covered by the DGFHS. Borders [with an "s"] does not appear in the lists at http://bigfile.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/listsearch where you can search for mailing lists at rootsweb.com Enter "Dumfries" [without quotes]; click DUMFRIES GALLOWAY in list of lists and decide how you want the list to respond to you.
