    3. Hello John - a minor spelling correction - the name is WARKMAN, a variation from WORKMAN. The Rev. Henry WARKMAN was my GG grandtather. He succeeded his father, the Rev. William WARKMAN in 1811. Father and son were Vicars of Earsdon from 1768 to 1857 when Henry died. His 3 surviving sons chose to become Engineers. One died in Melbourne, Australia, another in Brooklyn, New York and the third in Elswick, Newcastle. Charles Atkinson, Niagara Falls, Canada.
