    3. Fran After a bit of ferretting around I found http://www.ply.me.uk/genealogy/places.html#J which gave an entry "1, Jackson’s Yard, Morpeth, Northumberland [P0989] England 55°09'59.04"N 1°40'55.90"W" - i put the map co-ordinates into google maps, and it indicates it is: 2 Melbourne Terrace Morpeth, Northumberland NE61 1TR if you take the Googlite [little fella] down to street view just to the north of the marker, you can have a good look round, this house is obviously over 100 years old, so I tried to locate this on old maps [I just put the postcode in] - then select the 1859 Town Plans - Morpeth at Scale 1:500 and u will find it, although unamed, just to the west of Laurel Cottage, Bennett's Walk ... and what a lovely view of the river! Try some other maps, but I am certain it is as indicated. Probably worth looking through the censuses to see if there was a JACKSON there in any of them.
