Hello List I thought it time to get back to one of my long term brick walls. My great great grandmother Margaret Crookshanks married Thomas Graham at St Johns, Newcastle in 1815. After around 15 years of family research, she remains a mystery. I still do not know who her parents were, nor her date of birth, or year of death. She had several children, three of whom survived. Her husband, Thomas died in 1826 and was buried at St Johns. He was 37, making his date of birth around 1789. I am assuming she would be of similar age or a little younger. According to the IGI, there seem to have been several families of Crookshanks living in the All Saints area of Newcastle in the late 1700s, but no record for a Margaret Crookshanks. (no luck with Cruikshanks either) Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Jeanette Heath Melbourne
