Thank you for the kind replies on the Robie Burns Inn. I've dug a bit more and collated what I know of Antonio Francovich, so thought I would share back in the hope it might prove useful to someone, one day. Antonio Francovich, born Austria, 1847. Married Margaret Welsh, 21st Jun 1875, Roman Catholic Chapel, Bedford Street, North Shields. Resident at time on Clive Street. Still on Clive Street, 02nd Jan 1879 when first child Natelle born. Resident "Robie Burns" Broad Quay, Clive Street, 1879 Kelly's Directory - I wonder when he became associated with the Robie Burns? Might he have been there in 1875? Resident 1 Linskills Bank, 1881 census, with wife and Natelle. So the association with the Robie Burns may well have been quite short-lived. Last sighting, 2nd July 1884, Coulson's Bank, from birth cert of 2nd child Mary. Regards John
