    3. Just a wild shot in the dark. I have an Edwin Frederick Dobson Dodd born 1888 in Sunderland. Worked as ship's steward per the 1911 census and his attestation, and as a cook per his seaman's ID card. In my experience, few people can spell Dodd. Only four letters and 75% D, but infinite ways to get it wrong, esp pluralizing. I thought I would spend my days off searching for the Edwin's Will/Probate. He died 12 July 1929 at Home House, Low Fell. I have searched the Gov.Uk site for 1929-1936 to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Cheers Gwyneth Sydney .. Please quote the minimum necessary to put your reply on context. Please introduce yourself at the top of every post.
