Maurice: I can't find any trace of a Snowdon/ ----- Procter marriage anywhere in Northumberland 1813-37. However, there was one between a Mary Snowdon and a William Carr at Lambley on 10 October 1824. Could this have been her? That is, how sure are you about the Proctor connection? As far as Mary's baptism is concerned, you didn't say how close to 1800 she might have been born, but my IGI (1992 microfiche edition), which does cover Haltwhistle for that period, offers no Mary, daughter of Jacob Snowdon entries1790-1810 anywhere in Northumberland (that is covered by the IGI).
