    3. I may have provided this reference from a transcript. Thomas is "of Morpeth". The witness may well be Eden Falcus. The final letter(s) are a squiggle. There is a burial entry in the Bedlington transcript for Sept (3?) 1781 "Frances, wife of Thomas Fawcuss, Choppington". John Swann witnesses a number of marriages at this time and could well have been the parish clerk.
