Hello Heather Look at the genuki pages for Stamfordham, the church records. There at the bottom you will see the parishes adjacent to Stamfordham. Newburn parish is adjacent to Stamfordham parish. Have you looked at the two Isabella Anderson's who appear on the IGI around 1792 and compared them against the Bishops Transcripts? My own Andersons were in Newburn parish for decades but there is no likely Isabella in my database. Hi Heather: Re: Search for ANDERSON & FORSTER While this may seem like an unlikely suggestion, try searching the IGI in Russia. There are quite a few ANDERSON and FORSTER births listed there. Noticed these as I was searching for my own ancestors who were born in Northumberland, and moved to Russia re: employment opportunities in relation to Northumberland's connection to the emerging Russian railway system.
