Hello list! This is my first post in some time and need to be refreshed on the current limitations imposed on BMD records and other possible data able to be obtained from local government offices. I know the 1911 census is the most current so I believe we're a little under the 100 year rule with this latest edition. Are there other limitations to protect the living when looking up BMD information? Can the offices in Newcastle provide information over the counter before requesting GRO certificates?
