    3. To Gail in Canada Just in case it can help you, a Fred and Addie Lightly emigrated with my father from Sunderland or thereabouts to Toronto in 1910. They are long gone now, but I think I could find at least one of their daughters when I get home to Ottawa - I'm on the road at the moment. If you are interested, let me know, but I'll have to reply off line because they are about my age and possibly still living. 3. Thanks Bruce. If they are doing family research and show a Mary Lightly b abt 1815 in Houghton Le Spring, it would be wonderful to connect with them. As yet, have not found marriage between Robert Johnston and Mary Lightly, but their 1st child a daughter Frances Lightly Johnston Johnston's GRO birth show born 21st Nov 1841 Bamburgh, Belford Union, Durham & Northumberland Counties and show parents as married. Next 9 children were born in Roxburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland. No further info found on Mary Lightly but plan to try finding a marriage in Scotland abt 1840-41 possibly Sprouston, Roxburghshire where Robert was born. If necessary, contact me off line.
