I think I may have come across a transcription error in the 1911 Census [RG14PN30293 RD556 SD1 ED34 SN38 At 170 Westoe Road South Shields they list as a visitor POLLARD MARY ETHEL School Teacher I think this should be POLLOCK MARY ETHEL but I am not sure. I wonder if anyone has access to the 1911 Voters Registration list for South Shields and would be kind enough if that can solve this problem for me Thank you in advance Regards Peter Collins PS I think that the person has died!!
