    3. Presumably J.W.Davison's wife remarried to a Sands before the information re his death was recorded. Therefore, find the marriage of D.A. Davison, Widow,to Sands and check that her father is the same name and occupation as on the marriage certificate when D.A. ?? married J. W. Davison. Hopefully this will give you the confirmation you need, provided you have the full birth certificates of the two people you mention with father and mother's names on.
