HI Mike, I thought there must be a Shipley in Northumberland because the LDS library catalogue showed a couple of films for the place, just not the PRs or BTs for Shipley. I just could not find Shipley listed in the Towns and Parishes for Northumberland listing on the Genuki pages nor could I find it listed in the More Completel list of towns and parishes on the same Genuki page. Jenny, Yes it seems to be just a hamlet or perhaps a farm, just off the B6346 road out of Alnwick, and mid-way between Alnwick and Eglingham.
