E I used to live at 18 Ravensworth Terrace in Bensham and our back gardens all backed onto Liddell Terrace. Can I help with anything? What I do remember is the Toffee Factory and I can still smell the fragrance to this day! Wow, I wonder If I know you then. I lived at Liddell Terr and went to Brighton Ave school. Moved 1962. I have always wanted photos of Liddell Terr, Bensham bank end before the toffee factory, which I too remember well. Small world. My great gran was in Fountain view and no one has photos of her so I thought there might be some of the patients around that time, 1951-3. Do you remember the Big Irish family that lived in your street, I forgot their name now. Memories. Their house is at Beamish museum now, which again revives old memories. E. There was a great big ash tree at the bottom of our garden which was opposite the first entrance to the tenement block as you came from Bensham Road. I think the Irish family you were referring to were the Reillys? John,Pat,Terry, Ronnie and a little 'un. And my house No 18 is also at Beamish but I think it has been designated a dentists house (from before my family's time) because it wasn't a dentists house when I lived there. I also remember the Victory party in Liddell Terrace, I won a couple of running races!!! So who were you and which house were you in. I seem to recall the two doors immediately before the tenements but I don't remember any young girls!!! Refresh my memory!!! regards Alan Yarrow ----- Original Message ----- From: "eyshasfineart4me" <eyshasfineart@blueyonder.co.uk> To: <northumbria@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 28, 2009 12:12 PM Subject: Re: [NMB] Victory pics Gateshead > > Wow, I wonder If I know you then.
