Hi Christel, I live in Low Flatts Road Chester le Street, DH3 4AW. The road is just east of the main east coast railway line. On older maps, houses were to be found on the west side. Only brick foundations are left. My house was built early 1950s. Also there is a High Flatts nearby. Hello Thanks for your responses to this question. Since most of my County Durham connections come from the area of Chester le Street, I should have known I would find it within ~5 miles of there! Actually I had looked around Chester le Street but on a modern map so missed the Harraton connection.
