Brian, What a treasure trove this website is. I have been searching for several years for vintage photographs of South Shields villages, particularly Westoe where my William MASON of Craster moved to mid 1800's. Marvellous photos - invaluable to how our ancestors lived, especially to we far-flung descendents who are unfamiliar with any aspect of Tyneside lifestyle.
