Hi, I am asking for help from some-one who knows the area around Eglingham in Northumberland. I have John SANDERSON (born around 1801 +/- 1 year), with his wife Hannah and family in the later censuses from 1861 on. In these he gives his place of birth as North Eglingham. I think (I'm pretty sure) I have the same person in the 1851 census but the www.ancestry.com transcription gives it as Link Hall, though it looks more like 'Lints Hoale' to me. I've checked the OS map around the area and there's nothing that looks like either Links Hall or Lints Hoale to me. Can anyone help? Rod S.
