Their first dtr Frances Lightly JOHNSTON was b 1842 Bamburgh, Northumberland/Durham Counties (have GRO birth), the remaining 9 children were born Roxburgh, Roxburghshire. Have just recently found Scotland Death Record of Mary Johnston nee Lightly. The Death records shows Mary Johnston (Married to Robert Johnston, Builder), died 1877 May 12th Sprouston, age 61 years, parents as Edward LIGHTLY, Brewer? (Journeyman) (Deceased), Mary Lightly M.S. CARRICK (Deceased), Informant Robert Johnston, Widower (Present), reg. 1877 May 15th Sprouston.
