Dear Listers, I have tried to join the ' MORPETH ' list as this is the area I am interested in but with no luck so have now gone to Northumbria, hoping that someone may be able to help me.. I have a birth for John Thomas KIRTLEY - 4 September 1899 - Morpeth District. Ref. 10b 426. I have been unable to find him on the 1901 Census but have found two others who are slightly older and born in either Washington or Norton, Co, Durham. I am interested in who his Parents were. He married Ann MITCHELSON in 1923 in the Tynemouth District.
