    3. Could someone please give me a link to see an online map of Willington Quay/Willington/Howdon around 1900. I am looking for Parker's Cottages (my grandfather Thomas SNOWDON's address given on his Boer War enlistment details) and Willington House (where my grandmother Catherine SNOWDON was living in the 1901 census). Does anyone know anything about these addresses? I know that they later lived in Nelson Street until they moved to Benjamin Rd Rosehill when Nelson St was demolished. Also does anyone know the date these houses in Nelson St were pulled down? Thank you Delia

Delia Use: http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm Navigate up to Willington/Howdon, set the scale to, say, 1:5000 and the date to "Circa 1894-1899".
