Hi! I have just rejoined the list after several years and am keen to pick up information about my family. My SNOWDON ancestors were in Haltwhistle before 1700 and left about 1865. A particular question relates to the marriage of John SNOWDON to Frances ARMSTRONG in 1753. Frances' maiden name was SPROAT and she was the daughter of John and Jane and born in 1728. Who was her first husband and when did he die? John SNOWDON had also been married earlier and had two sons, John and Robert. Who was his first wife and when did she die?
