All Is anyone researching the Hudspeth name? I am hoping to get some assistance with an ancestor who has his middle name as 'Hudspeth' but I don't know why ! Details are George Hudspeth Fothergill born 5.3.1803, bapt 8.5.1803 Heworth to parents Joshua Fothergill and Margaret Mills (married 11.5.1802 St John's Newcastle). I suspect that he probably died in infancy but I would like to know why the middle name 'Hudspeth' was used, probbaly a maiden name somewhere down the line but which one and when please?
