Thanks, Joan >> Tea Lane has been lifted out of Belfast and rebuilt at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum at Cultra (on the main A2 road, or by train to Bangor). This is a great place to visit anyway, as there are many other buildings from plantation times onward on the site. You can get a real insight into how the old folk lived. Tea Lane is a great example of the "2 up, 2 down" dwelling that was built in Belfast to house the shipyard or mill workers. I drove past the Folk Museum this morning. At the moment there's a "Rare Breeds" show taking place there. You can see the old-fashioned varieties of pigs, sheep, poultry, etc. that aren't really suited to modern agri-business.
