Looking for information on parents or possible siblings of Alexander YOUNG, b. 26 Aug 1798 in Co. Derry or Co. Donegal, Ireland. Emigrated to USA in Aug 1821. Married Rachel DUNBAR June 1822. Married, second, Margaret TORRENS or TORRENCE June 1830 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Both wives said to have been born in Ireland, but dates and places of birth are not known. Richard YOUNG, brother of Alexander, b. about 1800. Emigrated to USA between 1839 and 1860 with wife Elizabeth and daughters Ann and Dorcas. All four members of this family reportedly were born in Co. Donegal, Ireland. Alexander and Richard may also have had a sister, Margaret YOUNG, who married William TORRENS.
