Sorry to bother the whole list but my email to Maryjanes was returned. I do not have the Brandon line except as a collateral. However, they were well known and think there might be a book out about the immigrant (or an article). In Carolina Cradle by Park Rouse, he states that John Brandon came in through PA, went through York Co. and ended up in Rowan Co. and Anson Co., NC.
