Hello All I wonder if there is anyone out there with links to any McCARTNEYS of Saintfield County Down. My gggrandmother was Jane McCartney born 1821 at Saintfield to parents John and Jane McCartney. She emigrated to Australia on the 'Wilson' which left from Greenock and arrived Sydney January 1842 and married my gggrandfather Richard Jones in June 1842 and died at Gympie Queensland aged 50 in 1871.
