Hi, I have been on the list for awhile but haven't had much time to work on my genealogy. My Irish family immigrated about 1846 from Ireland. The family were James and Jane Tisdale (parents) and children, George, James, Ann and possibly Joseph or Charles. They went to Ontario, Canada. The grave stone of Ann Tisdale Milner says that she was from Cavan, Ireland. I read about the Griffith's list...I am not sure what this is and I am wondering if someone would be kind enough to see if the Tisdale family are on this list and/or if anyone has any suggestions on how I would find out about this family in Ireland and how they got to Ireland.
