    3. P.S. Forgot to mention there are Cancelled Land Books which updates the information from the Griffith's Valuation. When the householder died or immigrated the name was crossed out and the year was written and the next householder's name was entered. You can find information through the 1950s or 1960s. If you check the Family History Center you will find the Cancelled Land Books under the heading of Land and Property Records and Valuation. Slan go foill, Margaret >In the Griffith's Valuation the name is spelled Trousdale. The following >were listed for the Civil Parish of Clonduff. > >Index to Griffith's Valuation of Ireland, 1848-1864 > >Trousdale, Samuel County : Down > Parish : Clonduff > Location : Ballynagappoge > >Trousdale, Thomas County : Down > Parish : Clonduff > Location : Ballynagappoge > >Ballynapgappoge is adjacent to Kinghill at at the northwestern corner of >Kinghill. And is situated between Ballyooshone Lower and Cabragh (Cabra). >In the Griffith'a Valuation (1863/64) there is no John Newell listed as >immediate lessor. Don't know the family name of the Marquis of Downshire >(Newell?)but he is listed as immediate lessor for many of the properties in >Ballynapgappoge. Also no Newell listed in Kinghill as householder or >lessor. > >Thomas Trousdale is also listed as immediate lessor for Margaret Kirk, Lot >#2b.
