Hi Listers Does anyone have access to the book "History of the Family of Nisbet or Nesbitt in Scotland and Ireland" Torquay, privately published? I would like to know if any reference is made to William Nesbitt who was born in Co.Down in the late 1700's. His parents were born in Scotland and went to Ireland as "agriculturists" William married Mary Henderson in Ireland and they had seven children. William emigrated in the 1820's with 4 of his children to Lanark Co. Ont. , after Mary died. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might know this family or the book about Nesbitt.
