Hi Norm Thanks for that. I do indeed use Google search etc, and find it comes up with many possibilities, and then you just have to filter thru them. As I mentioned I was trying to short circuit things a little by coming up to the present day - thought I'd be able to get a few "rellies" to fill in the gaps <grin>. I've got births between 1876 and 1891, which were my grandfather's generation, and was hoping that there'd been some of their children & grandchildren left behind who'd be able to put together a few pieces of the jigsaw. I have actually sent a couple of letters off to people in Irvinestown and Strabane with the hope that if they are not actually related, they may be able to point be to a distant cousin six times removed, lol!
