For many years I have been searching for my G/grandfather,James Timlin He was born abt 1826 One certificate I have gives his birthplace as Co.Mayo,and another as Dublin,but I have been unable to find him in either. But recently a grandson of his, is quite certain he was told that grandfather was born in Belfast,and went down to Sth Cork as he had been offered a job there. He married Frances Mary Kelly(nee Clark/e) in Skibbereen on 14 August 1857 There were five children born in Skibbereen before they all sailed for New Zealand Ever hopeful, Marie, New Zealand
