Hi Listers I'm a recent arrival in Ireland, from South Africa, and am researching my LONEY line which has been in Guernsey at least from the late 1700's to the last century. We must have started in Ireland at some stage - haven't found it yet! I have only been able to go as far back as Capt. WILLIAM PETER BARTHOLOMEW LONEY who lived and died in Guernsey in the early 1800's.
