Hi Jean, You were very kind to me when I asked about our relatives in Ireland. So I am happy to say, after receiving some papers, I found mention of a Moore in a will written in 1872. It is the will of John Cleland of Ballytrim, parish of Killyleagh. "I leave and bequeath to Jane Moore, daughter to Ann Jane Rodgers, the sum of five pounds Sterling." Other surnames in the will: Patterson, Cleland, Munce, Lawther, Weaver, Bingham We also have two letters passed down in the family from the year 1834. One written to Ireland, the other received from Ireland. No mention of Moore's in those, but many other families.
