    3. Hi, I was hoping that someone on this list could point me in the right direction. I have been researching the origins of my gggr-mother, whose name I was told to be Mary McKenna, McCanna, McCann or McCannon. So many choices to pick from! She was born in November 02, 1830 in Northern Ireland. She emigrated to Philadelphia, PA or Delaware, USA sometime around 1850/51. Her first name was Mary or Maria. She married in Delaware to a Charles Reichel and moved to Newfoundland, PA. where they lived and raised 7 children. She supposedly came from Coleraine, Derry. Her husband, Charles Reichel, was a Moravian and their marriage is recorded in the Archives at the Moravian Seminary in Bethelem, PA, USA. There is a rumor that her father may have been named Thomas. She may have had an uncle who lived in England whose last name was Kane. She may have been married previously in Ireland and had several children who died. We are thinking that she may have been Moravian prior to leaving Ireland. I am planning a trip to Ireland, possibly in May or June of this year. I will go to Dublin and search the archives and then to N. Ireland. Does anyone know if the Moravian church in Ireland or England have an archives or a way to reseach members? Would there likely be people with the surnames listed above from Coleraine in the 19th century? I appreciate any help that can be provided. Sandy Lawson Sacramento, CA, USA
