I am researching my "McCleery" family. my grand father Alexander was born in Raphoe, his brother David was born in Letterkenny, both places in C. Donegal. Their parents were William and Sarah (neeGiley) McCleery. Alexander came to New Zealand, probably through the US in the 1870's. David came aboard the 'Earl of Zetland' in 1775. I am fairly certain that there is family in the US and in Northern Ireland. Can anyone help. Regards, Dawn.
