    1. Re: [NIRGW] Fw: Family History {from ADMIN} -- (AN EXPLANATION from Admin}
    2. Kathleen's Korner
    3. Mona . . . First, let me explain a bit. These *ARE* list postings and yes, they both came from me! You haven't seem many for awhile because I work for the US Postal Service and December doesn't leave me time to do anything but get a few hours sleep each night. The first portion of the note below does *not* necessarily apply to you unless you are guilty of not send list postings to the correct address. The first portion of the posting below which is from me is actually a "boiler-plate" lead-in I use to intro any posting that bounced to me because it was improperly addressed . . . rather than going straight to the List. In this example, the message below mine is the actual message from Colin Randall that bounced to me. Notice he addressed his message to NorthernIrelandGenWeb-L-request@rootsweb.com . Putting the *-request* in the address is only done when subscribing or unsubscribing and you want the robot server to pick it up and act on it. To just send a message to the list, the address is: NorthernIrelandGenWeb-L@rootsweb.com . If anything other than this latter one is used to send a message to the List, it *will* bounce to me for interaction, correction and forwarding. If the *-request* address is used and it has the word subscribe or unsubscribe (nothing else) in the Subject Line and Message Body, the robot server intercepts it and completes the requested action . . . I never see it until I receive notice confirmation that this person has been subscribed or unsubscribed. Bottom line: Whenever you see "ADMIN Forward", it means I had to send it on to the List because of a bad address, as a courtesy to someone *not* subscribed to our List or because the email address of someone on our list roster has gone bad. I hope this clears things a bit. If you're still confused, let me know. - Kathleen List Admin ~~~ Kathleen's Korner ~~~ woodside.1728@home.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mona Yungkans" <ryungkans@SPRYNET.COM> To: <NorthernIrelandGenWeb-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, December 30, 2001 10:15 PM Subject: Re: [NIRGW] Fw: Family History {from ADMIN} > Kathleen - this is the second time that I've received this message from you > in the last few days. 3. If this is the church in College Sq North, then it does exist, but has been unused for well over 20 years, and is in a state of severe disrepair at the moment. 3. Thanks for the information about the College Square Church. My grandmother was a Presbyterian and my grandfather a Methodist and he turned Presbyterian to please her. I was hoping to correspond with the present minister to see if there were records on this. Not that their religious beliefs mean anything to me, a devout agnostic. 3. Greetings All: I am searching for ANY and ALL ancestors, brothers, sisters, or other relatives of Andrew, David or Robert KENNEDY (of Killyleagh, Cluntagh, Tullyveery and Shrigley). These three brothers were the children of David and Sarah KENNEDY. The three brothers left for the United States in the 1850's. Remaining behind in Killyleagh area were their parents and six brothers and sisters. I would appreciate any information on those KENNEDY's who stayed in Killyleagh, and any contacts with their descendants living anywhere. Thanks for any help and have a happy, peaceful and great New Year. Mike Kennedy Dayton Ohio
