Hi Don Saw your sign off listing Annett family as part of your research. Did part of your group travel to NZ? My grandmother's maiden name was Annett - (she passed away about 2 years ago) and I believe her father was Robert Annett, I don't know her mother's Christian name, but her maiden name was I believe Harrison. My grandmother was one of I think 11 or 13. I can probably put you in touch with someone who knows far more about this end, if any of this info ties in. They did originally come from Ireland, but where I personally do not know. Regards Karen Hitchcock (nee Guy) Researching Guy family - Cos Donegal, Tyrone & Fermanagh
Hi Karen Sorry i have not come across any New Zealand emigrants so far on the ANNETT side. A few on the Anderson tree ended up in Australia. (But we don't talk about that HA! HA!) I had an e-mail from another Annett researcher in New Zealand. I don't know if you have come across her before. Se is a lovely lady. I will forward a copy of one of her e-mail's. Does anyone have any information about Adam Reid, born in Northern Ireland on Nov. 7, 1794; died Springfield, Ohio, 1862. He married Elizabeth and had at least two brothers, Charles and John. They sailed from Edinburgh, Scotland, to New York in 1826. I have information about descendants; would like to know the ancestry. Thanks. Frances Magrabi
