Our Co-op had a little man on a bike with a boxed frame at the front and a whicker basket for the goods.. David Jason reminded me of him in "Open All Hours". Our little man even had a "fair-isle" v-neck sleeveless pullover. Do you remember them? Mine matched my swimming cossy cos it was the only bits of wool me mam had, except the pullover didn't fall down when wet.
