Thank you very much Marion. That was like having a mate next door to ask. You were so quick. What I did was, having been taken over by the BT registration CD I decided to re-format my hard drive, start afresh so to speak. Well I backed up everything relevant to floppies including the TranCens database and forgot about BDE. There was so much rubbish (mostly my grandaughter's on it) that it was easy to miss something) Anyway with my 15" modem and a near empty 'my documents' I'm highly satisfied.
