My mum's favourites were P.J.Proby with his velvet ribbon in his ponytail. That seems to be the fashion so he was well ahead of his time. As a kid I thought he was gorgeous, and I have never heard anyone sing that song from West side story as well as him "Some where's a place for us - take my hand I'll take you there, somehow, some day, somewhere " Just love it, gives me goose pimples all over.
