Hi Glenda Always forget that people abroad don't know this word. Maybe it's a Liverpool expression - a butty is just a sandwich. You'll be interested to know that the Welsh mean "my friend" when they say "My Butty" - don't know if this is just their pronunciation of "Buddy". No doubt some proper Welsh person will correct me if I'm wrong. Nice to see you on the List.
