Hi Glenda, Well now, my mam was "In Service" as a cook/housekeeper to people like, and including, the Earl of Powis in the 1940s. Always a cooked, full English Breakfast at 7:30 AM Lunch at 1:00PM Tea at 4:00 PM (Tea, sliced bread and butter with fancy cakes) Dinner at 8:00PM I used to love that routine.
