    2. Marged
    3. Hi Glenda I couldn't possibly drink tea first thing in the morning - I like coffee then, and mid morning too. At lunch time, I make a pot of tea, and we have probably two cups with our meal. At 4pm I make a cup of coffee again, and we have a biscuit (cookie), while we watch the quiz "Fifteen to One" and the "Countdown". After that, I don't make any more tea unless my friends come, who prefer tea to anything, and I try to remember to offer them biscuits or cake. I try my best not to eat between meals, but an Irish friend told me she was very surprised that the English will offer people tea or coffee and nothing to eat with it. She taught me "I was in the house half an hour and she didn't even ask me had I a mouth on me!" Marged | How many times a day, and at what time, does teatime take place | in the UK ?
