Living, as I do, in a lathe and plaster house the sound of gnawing is enough to make me jump up and bang floor and walls just in case something is getting in. I have been lucky in the past few years, I have the odd mouse in my cellar but nothing bigger and they don't come back again - nothing but the odd bottle of wine there and so far they haven't worked out how to get through the cork. If that day comes they had better watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
